"I am sorry if I never wrote back but it was such an overwhelming experience," she wrote. "Also thank you to John Favno and Ed that went out yesterday with no luck. But in a day it changed."

Original story - A woman who went to the Manasquan beach recently was having a great time, before she realized her wedding band and engagement were gone, according to her Facebook post.

Vee Michele Cleary is asking people who visit the beach to keep their eyes out for her rings.

"I didn't even feel it fall off, but I am completely distraught over this," she wrote.

The engagement ring belonged to her mother, who died 30 years ago when she was a little girl. Her family had the ring redone for her, Cleary said.

She is offering a $1,500 reward to anyone who finds the set or just the engagement ring.

The engagement ring is a marquise-cut diamond.

As soon as Patch learns what beach she visited, we will post the information.
