2 18-Year-Olds Injured, 1 Airlifted After Dirt Bike Crash In Manchester
The two 18-year-olds suffered serious injuries in the crash, Manchester police said.
MANCHESTER, NJ — Two 18-year-olds from Browns Mills were seriously injured Sunday in a dirt bike crash in the Greenwood Forest Wildlife Management area, Manchester police said.
Dominic Valdivieso was flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden and William Vandergrift II was taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River following the crash that happened about 8:15 p.m., police said Tuesday. Both were listed as stable on Tuesday, police said.
Vandergrift was riding a Kawasaki north on Hay Road in the wildlife management area when Valdivieso, who was riding a Yamaha, made a U-turn on the trail, leading to the collision, police said.

Vandergrift was thrown from the Kawasaki as a result, police said.
The Manchester Township Division of Emergency Services, paramedics from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, and Priced Rite Towing responded to the crash, police said.

Patrolman Kamar Gainey of the Manchester Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit is investigating.
