Manchester Man Accused Of Sexually Touching Student In Atlantic County
The man was a teacher in Atlantic County; the child is younger than 13 years old, authorities said.

MANCHESTER, NJ — A Manchester Township man who was a teacher in Atlantic County has been arrested on charges he sexually touched a student, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
Darnell Williams, 23, who lives in Whiting, was arrested Thursday on charges of second-degree sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and second-degree official misconduct, prosecutors said.
Authorities allege Williams, who was a teacher in the Hamilton Township School District, touched the intimate part of a child who was under his care in an sexual manner, in the incident on Feb. 21.

Williams was arrested Thursday by Hamilton Township police and is being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a detention hearing.
The incident was investigated by the Hamilton Township Police Department with assistance from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Special Victims Unit, the prosecutor's office said.
