Manchester Man Unhurt After Crashing into Garage

A seatbelt helped keep the 88-year-old safe, police said.

A Thornbury Lane resident wasn’t hurt when he crashed into his own garage Monday afternoon, Manchester Township Police said.

Morris Kaplan, 88, escaped injury thanks to his seat belt when he struck an interior wall while parking his Toyota Camry just before 3:15 p.m., police said.

There was only minor damage to the garage, police said, though the township building inspector was called out to the scene.
