Suspect Sought In Assault In Pine Lake Park In Manchester

MANCHESTER, NJ — Manchester Township police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man they say is a possible suspect in an assault in Pine Lake Park.

The incident happened May 31, and police said that after numerous investigative steps and attempts to identify the suspect, released the composite sketch in hope of producing tips.

Police did not provide details of the assault and said, "We want to emphasize that there is no potential harm to the public at this time. This appears to be an isolated event, and our primary goal is to identify and locate the individual involved."

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about 5-foot-4, 145 pounds, approximately 41-50 years old. He has a medium build, brown eyes, brown hair, and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

"The suspect may have a small tribal tattoo of a triangle on his left hand," police said.
