Elmer Neidermeyer, President of Colts Neck Soccer, Dies at 56

Elmer “Joe” Neidermeyer, 56, of Colts Neck passed away on Wednesday morning April 3, 2013 at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He was born in Ft. Meade, MD.

Joe was a Tax Consultant, and was a 1975 graduate of Rutgers University. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Middletown, N.J.. He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s R.C. Church in Colts Neck, NJ and a long time member of the Colts Neck Sports Foundation, past President of the Colts Neck Soccer Club, and a member of the CBA Fathers Club.

Joe was predeceased by his parents Elmer and Anne Neidermeyer. He is survived by his wife Marie, sons Joseph and John, his daughter Rose, brothers Alan and Thomas, his sister Carole Schepel, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday April 5, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 – South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Marys R.C. Church, Highway 34 at Phalanx Road, Colts Neck.

Interment will then follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery, Allenwood, NJ.
