Is Traffic Safe Around the New Route 79 CVS?
A tight left turn could lead to close calls for driver's waiting at the Route 79 light.
While Patch Editors noticed what could be a minor problem in the pattern.
The left turn from Lloyd Road to Route 79 South has some motorists coming close to oncoming traffic sitting stationary waiting to turn left into the CVS parking lot.
The drug store on Route 79 at Lloyd Road in Morganville is just the first building on a newly cleared property, which will soon house a QuickChek fuel station and convenience store and a multi-tenant commercial building in the rear of the property.

According to The News Transcript, Zoning Board members expressed traffic concerns in the area. The Department of Transportation recently ok'd widening the road as well as altering the intersection traffic signal to reflect a higher commercial traffic volume.
