Marlboro K-8 2013/14 School Calendar Approved by Board

The Marlboro Board of Education has approved the 2013/14 school calendar.

The calendar, attached to this article, sets the first day of school on Sept. 9 and the last day of school on June 20.

Approved days off:

• Oct. 14 - Columbus Day – half day session for students
• Nov. 7-8 - NJEA Convention 
• Nov. 18-21 - Parent/Teacher Conferences – half day sessions 
• Nov. 22 - half day sessions for students
• Nov. 28-29 - Thanksgiving recess
• Dec. 20 - half day session for students, school close for winter recess
• Jan. 20 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day, schools closed
• Feb. 14 - schools closed for students
• Feb. 17 - Presidents’ Day, schools closed
• April 4 - half day session for students
• April 11 - Spring Recess begins at the end of the day
• May 26 - Memorial Day, schools closed
• June 6 - half day for students
• June 20 - Last Day of School/Eighth Grade Graduation
