Thieves Steal Second Car from the Same Family after Finding Colts Neck Address
Police say one vehicle was stolen from a Hazlet restaurant, where thieves found the address of the Colts Neck owners.

Three vehicles have been stolen in the last 24 hours from Colts Neck residents, according to police.
Police said one vehicle was stolen from a Hazlet restaurant. Thieves then found paperwork with an address in the glove compartment, along with a set of keys to a second car.
A 2011 BMW of the same owner was then stolen from a Lakeside Drive home between 9 p.m. and 12:15 a.m. last night, according to police.

Two more BMW vehicles were stolen from Eagles Nest Road, between 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and 8 a.m. on Friday. Both cars were unlocked with the keys inside.
Colts Neck Police would like to remind residents to lock their vehicles that are left unattended and to store their valuables out of sight if left in vehicle. Residents should also store their vehicle’s keys in a separate location from their vehicles, especially with the new technology of keys fabs.
