Week Ahead: Restaurant Tasting Event for MEF
Everything you need to know to plan your week in Marlboro and Colts Neck.

In Marlboro
The All in Good Taste Restaurant Tasting event is tonight at 6 p.m. at the American Hotel in Freehold. Tickets are $50 for adults and $25 for children, and benefit the Marlboro Educational Foundation. All you can eat and drink samples from fantastic local restaurants and eateries plus amazing gift basket raffles and a silent auction.
The Board of Education is meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Dugan Elementary School.
The MOMS Club of Morganville/Marlboro is meeting Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Marlboro Library. This chapter was founded in 1997 by local moms who needed support during the day.

The Kiwanis Club of Marlboro is having its bi-monthly meeting on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Bella Vista Country Club.
In Colts Neck
The Neighbors-Helping-Neighbors Career Transition Group is meeting on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Colts Neck Library. The group is a peer-networking group geared toward helping local residents find jobs.

The Planning Board is meeting at 8 p.m. on Tuesday in Town Hall.
Let your stuffed animals have a night out, with a sleepover at the Colts Neck Library on Wednesday. Everyone is invited to bring their favorite stuffed friend to the Colts Neck Library for a sleepover. Then come back for a teddy bear storytime and craft when you pick them up and watch a slideshow of their sleepover adventures.
The Township Committee is meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall.
Plan your weekend
Join Marlboro High School for a production of Thoroughly Modern Millie. It runs for one weekend only, Thursday April 11 at 6:30 p.m. and Friday April 12 & Saturday April 13 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are only $8.00 for Students and $10.00 for Adults and can be purchased at the theatre before the performance.
The Colts Neck Collectibles Show is this Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Dealer tables will feature sports cards, coins and currency. Those attending are welcome to bring their own collectibles for free appraisals. Admission is free.
The Monmouth Chinese School Open House is on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Dugan Elementary School. Visit, meet the staff, see the language and culture classes, and see how the program for learning Chinese is fitting for everyone.
The Beauty Ball is an evening of live and silent auction items, casino, fine food, cocktails and entertainment benefiting the The Beauty Foundation. The ball is taking place on Saturday, April 13 from 7:00-11:00 at Trump National Golf Club.
