Aberdeen PD Investigating "I" Section Burglaries

Jewelry reported missing from Imbrook Lane home

are investigating the burglary of a home on Imbrook
Lane that took place on Wednesday, Jan 18. The home was entered through a rear window sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., according to Chief of Police John Powers. Jewelry was reported missing by the resident.

Earlier in the day a resident of another Strathmore-area home on Ivyhill Drive reported that two men came to her door asking to check for leaks. One was wearing a dark-colored hoodie, baseball cap, and jeans; the other was wearing a gray hoodie and jeans, the resident reported to police. Responding officers were unable to locate the subjects.

Detectives are also investigating a similar burglary of a residence on Idlewild Lane reported Dec. 24, 2011.

P.O. Jeffrey Griffith took the initial report. Det. Hank Chevalier is continuing the
investigation.

Police are urging residents to report any suspicious activity. Anyone with information should contact the detective bureau at 732-566-2054.
