Aberdeen PD: Simple Assault, Drug Possession

Aberdeen Township police activity between Feb. 13 and Feb. 20

The Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests between Feb. 13 and
Feb. 20:

  • P.O. Michael Lasko arrested a 19-year-old Sweetbriar Street man for criminal trespass and harassment on Feb. 13.
  • A 23-year-old Long Branch resident was arrested by P.O. John Young on Feb. 13 for contempt of court out of Aberdeen municipal court.
  • P.O. Roger Peter arrested a 20-year-old Old Bridge man on Feb. 14 for contempt of court out of Hazlet municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on Highway 35.
  • A 25-year-old Aberdeen man was arrested by P.O. Louis Nanna on Feb. 14 for simple assault on Wayside Drive.
  • A 64-year-old Aberdeen man was arrested by P.O. Frank Maisano on Feb. 14 for simple assault and terroristic threats at Matawan Terrace apartments.
  • Special Officer Michael Sullivan charged a 28-year-old Haledon man with possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 15.
  • A 32-year-old Aberdeen resident was arrested by P.O. Matthew Lloyd on Feb. 16 for contempt of court out of Aberdeen municipal court.
  • On Feb. 17 P.O. Matthew Lloyd arrested a 25-year-old Keansburg resident for possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and contempt of court.
  • A 34-year-old Aberdeen resident was arrested by P.O. Raymond Campbell on Feb. 17 for contempt of court out of Monmouth County Superior Court.
  • On February 19th P.O. Frank Maisano charged three adults and two juveniles with possession of suspected marijuana on Beach Drive.

Other police activity during that period:

  • On Feb. 13 P.O. John Young took a report of harassing text messages on Canfield Lane.
  • P.O. Michael Plant responded to a suspicious persons report on Beaver Place on Feb. 13.
  • On Feb. 14 a township resident reported her vehicle was damaged while parked at the Avalon apartment complex on Central Avenue. P.O. Raymond Campbell investigated.
  • P.O. Darryl Richardson responded to a report of a disorderly person on Lorraine Drive on Feb. 15.
  • P.O. Martin Walsh responded to a suspicious persons report on Courtland Lane on Feb. 13.
  • On Feb. 16 a resident of Matawan Terrace reported the theft of her debit card. P.O. Raymond Campbell responded.
  • On Feb. 17 a Dogwood Court resident reported that his vehicle was entered during the night and an Ipod, wallet, and cash were taken. P.O. Darryl Richardson responded.
