2 Children, Mother Missing In North Jersey Since Sunday

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A Montville Township mother and her two children have been missing since Sunday, according to the Morris County’s Prosecutor’s Office.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll and Montville police Chief Andrew Caggiano asked for the public’s help in providing any information about Cheng Hsiao, 39, and her two children, Ethan, 3, and Ian, 2.

They were last seen at their home on Old Lane in Towaco on Saturday. Hsiao and her children were believed to have been there last between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., Carroll and Caggiano said in a joint news release.

Cheng Hsiao has black hair and brown eyes, weighs 121 pounds and is 5 feet 2 inches tall.

Ethan and Ian Hsiao both have black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with any information was asked to call Morris County Crimestoppers anonymously at 800-743-7433. People were also asked to call the Montville Township Police Department’s detective bureau at 973-257-4300 or the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office missing persons unit at 973-285-2900.
