45 Seat Belt, 1 DWI, 1 Cell Phone Ticket: 'Click It' Campaign Total In Chester Twp.
Department notched 150 tickets and 16 arrests during stepped up patrol period.

CHESTER TWP., N.J. – Two weeks of stepped up patrols made an impact in Chester Township, as 150 tickets for various offenses were handed out under the Click It or Ticket initiative.
Chester Township was granted $5,000 for 100 additional man hours to crackdown on seatbelt violators. With that came a slew of other offenses, which are detailed below:
- 1 driving while intoxicated
- 45 seat belt
- 9 speeding
- 1 cell phone
- 9 suspended license
- 4 careless driving
- 1 reckless driving
- 80 other (non-moving violations)
The police department also made 16 arrests for a range of reasons, including contempt of court charges, driving while intoxicated, and 10 disorderly persons drug offenses.
