Annual Patriot’s Race Set For Saturday, Will Benefit Mendham Causes

Township roads will be blocked off morning of June 18 for two-hour event.

MENDHAM TWP., N.J. – For the eighth straight year, the Mendham Patriot’s Race is set to hit the pavement and raise funds for great causes.

The 5K, 8K, and Kids’ Fun Run registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, June 18, in Brookside. This year’s event will benefit the rebuilding of Ralston Playground, Mendham Magic Track & Field Club, college scholarships and BlinkNow.

As a result of the race, some roads will be closed Saturday morning. Residents of East Main, Stoney Hill, Tingley, Dogwood, Washington Valley, Prudence, and Hamilton will have limited access to their homes from 9 to 10:15 a.m.

Police will be handling traffic control and the township is asking residents to plan on not traveling or scheduling visitors during that time.
