Chester Kids Invited To Reel In A Big Fish At Annual Police Derby

CHESTER, NJ — The Chester Township Policemen's Benevolent Association is gearing up for the annual Fishing Derby, and inviting young anglers to compete.

The contest is open to Chester residents 12 and under, and will be held on Saturday, June 15 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The derby location is R&R Construction at 105-B Parker Road in Chester Township, which has a pond on-site.

Food, drinks, and bait will be provided, according to Chester Township PBA 315. Prizes will also be given.

Some equipment may be available to borrow, but entrants are asked to bring their own fishing pole and hooks.
