Chester Police Hosting 'Coffee With A Cop' This Weekend
Get to know your local police officers over a cup of coffee at this community outreach event.
CHESTER, NJ — Chester residents can connect with their local police officers over a cup of java at an upcoming "Coffee With a Cop" community event this Sunday.
Chester Police are inviting neighbors to share coffee, conversation, and some light refreshments on June 9 at Starbucks of Chester from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (450 U.S. 206, Chester).
Police apartments across the U.S. hold these outreach events from time to time, as a way for officers and community members to get to know one another better. The local department began "Coffee With a Cop" in Chester back in 2016, according to previous Patch reporting.
