Chester's Downtown Among 5 Most Charming Main Streets in North Jersey: Website

CHESTER, N.J.– Chester's downtown was voted the fifth most charming main street in North Jersey, according to OMJ.com.

The list:

1. Ridgewood (Bergen County)

2. Ramsey (Bergen County)

3. Montclair(Essex County)

4. Hoboken (Hudson County)

5. Chester (Morris County).

"If you want to go back in time, this historic picturesque downtown is just the place for you," OMJ described Chester's main drag.

"Reminiscent of America's old-time mercantile district, it's a trip down memory lane as you stroll the brick sidewalks; admire the preserved building facades and revel in the time-worn beauty that is still the very essence of 'Main Street'," the Chester website states.
