Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, was recognized as “Honorary Chief” of the Association because of his work with law enforcement, according to a news release from the County of Morris.
"I joined the Prosecutor’s Office at a time unique in my lifetime and indeed the nation’s history -
unprecedented political strife, elevated racial tensions, the profound impact of social media,
elevated community and law enforcement tensions, new laws and directives in our reformed
criminal justice system, and of course, Covid, which still affects all of us in ways no one could
have imagined. In response, law enforcement solidified and forged a unique, and dare I say
powerful, law enforcement alliance… all of whom work together to protect and serve our communities every hour of every day. I am pleased to say that with this alliance, we are succeeding in meeting and overcoming all that has been put before us," Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said.
