Detective Helps Turtle Cross Traffic On Chester Township Road
The detective, who is also the department's Humane Law Enforcement Officer, grabbed a cloth to help the turtle cross the road safely.

CHESTER, NJ — A keen-eyed Chester Police detective spotted a turtle trying to cross Furnace Road earlier this week, and helped the little reptile make it safely to its destination.
Chester PD shared a photo of Det. Matthew Bohn, who is also the department's Humane Law Enforcement Officer, holding the turtle with a microfiber cloth.
Bohn saw the animal on Thursday morning and assisted it in crossing the road (in the same direction it was already headed, he later noted).
