MENDHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ — The deadline to file for candidacy for the school board election has passed, and a contested race for the Mendham Township Board of Education is underway.
Six Mendham Township candidates are vying for three spots on the board of education.
Two Mendham Township BOE incumbent candidates are seeking election, with four newcomers looking for a spot on the board.

The incumbents are Liz Tamasi and Diana Orban Brown. Each of them is seeking a three-year term.
The newcomer candidates are Christina Klausner, Cynthia Brusco, Allison Barratt, and Kathleen McCallum, all seeking three-year terms.

Running uncontested for the Mendham Borough Board of Education are incumbents Barry Haines and John Vitale.
