'Share The Keys' Offered At West Morris HS District In April

Teen drivers and parents can join virtually on April 11 as West Morris Regional High School District holds a free interactive orientation.

CHESTER, NJ — New teen drivers and their parents can learn together how to cut the risk of a crash when they sign up for an interactive online program offered in the West Central Regional High School District.

Share the Keys is a 60- to 90-minute orientation for parents and their teen drivers, the District's webpage said. It's on April 11 from 7-8:30 p.m.

NJM insurance adopted Share the Keys "as part of our enduring commitment to safety and support of the communities we are privileged to serve." Share the Keys was developed by the New Jersey Division of Highway Safety and Kean University and is a research-based, data-driven program designed to reduce teen driver crash risks through increased parental involvement, according to the statement accompanying the event announcement. NJM posts FAQs on its website.
