Historic Publick House Set To Reopen Under New Owners In Chester
The Publick House, a Main Street fixture since 1810, officially reopened under new ownership after being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The historic restaurant, which closed in 2020, was sold after being on the market since last year, according to Land Use Board documents.

9 Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash In Chester
Multiple people were injured on Dec. 19 after a multi-vehicle crash in the area of U.S. Highway 206 and Maple Avenue, Chester police said. As a result of the crash, eight people were taken to area hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries and one patient was airlifted, via MedEvac, to a local trauma hospital for life-threatening injuries.

Karen Winn is a 1996 Mendham High School grad and Dutton/ Penguin Random House released her debut novel on May 3. The novel, "Our Little World" is set in the 1980s in a small, idyllic New Jersey town. Winn said it's a coming-of-age story that centers on two sisters whose relationship becomes forever altered when a neighborhood girl disappears at the local lake.
Annual Holiday Market Makes Its Return To Family Owned Chester Farm
To help kick off the holiday season this year, Riamede Farm welcomed all residents and visitors to the second annual Christmas Market at the Farm holiday market. The family-friendly free event in the farm's apple orchards and vintage barn featured over 25 hand-picked local vendors, food offerings, a pie tasting and plenty of holiday cheer.
