Tree Lighting And Santa Visit In Chester This Weekend

CHESTER, NJ — The annual tree lighting and Santa visit is happening this weekend, Dec. 2 in Chester.

The tree lighting will be held at the Gazebo at Municipal Field, and will mark the official start of the holiday season. The West Morris Mendham Concert Band and the Treble Makers will preform starting at 5 p.m., and Santa will arrive on a Chester Volunteer Fire Company truck at 5:15 p.m.

Children will have the chance to meet Santa and share their wishlist, or can mail a wish letter. Refreshments will also be served.
