Free Open Recreation Programs For Middletown Kids, Teens
The after school program features crafts, games, tournaments and parties, all under supervision.
MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Middletown’s open recreation program at the Tonya Keller Community Center is back for 2023, featuring an array of supervised activities, games and crafts for residents in grades K through 12.
Hours of operation are 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday for grades K-5 and Monday and Wednesday for grades 6-12. Both programs are free to residents; non-residents won’t be accepted at this time.
“Open Recreation Rules are parallel to school rules and are applied at all times,” Middletown recreation said in a statement. “Children must be registered and understanding of these rules prior to participating in the program.”

Alongside monthly calendars of crafts, games and parties, areas for students to complete homework under supervision is also offered. See a full schedule of events here.
