MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Calling all Middletown residents and MLB hopefuls.
The Middletown Recreation and Middletown Youth Athletic Association will be hosting an MLB “Pitch Hit & Run” skills competition later this month, where some of Middletown’s youngest residents can show off their baseball and softball skills, recreation officials said.
The event for ages 7 to 14 is set to take place on April 15 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Bodman Park in Red Bank, according to a digital flier on Middletown’s municipal website. Players are encouraged to wear baseball/softball gear.
