Monmouth County Will Hold Sept. 11 Ceremony From Mount Mitchill
Held at 8 a.m. Sept. 11. The county commissioners invite the families of Monmouth County 9/11 victims to participate:
ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ — As it does every year, Monmouth County will hold a Sept. 11 memorial vigil on Sept. 11 (a Wednesday this year), and the county commissioners invite the families of those killed in the terrorist attacks who lived in Monmouth County to participate.
Those interested in participating in the Monmouth County September 11 Memorial Ceremony are asked to email Lauren Brand at Lauren.Brand@co.monmouth.nj.us or Danielle Banyacski at Danielle.Banyacski@co.monmouth.nj.us by Sept. 2.
As always, the memorial service will be held from the top of Mount Mitchill scenic overlook at 460 Ocean Boulevard, Atlantic Highlands at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

The Board of County Commissioners would like to invite the families of those who lost their lives during this tragedy to not only attend, but to participate in the County’s memorial ceremony.
"It is our responsibility to continue to remember those who lost loved ones and to honor the memory of those who perished," said Commissioner Director Tom Arnone.
