• Footage Released In Fatal E-Bike, Police Car Collision In Middletown (patch.com) — State investigators have released video of the October 2025 collision on Route 36 in Middletown where an Atlantic Highlands police car struck an e-bike rider, who later died. The Attorney General has now identified the victim and officer, shared the footage after the family’s review, and continues to investigate the on-duty fatal encounter without any criminal charges filed so far.
