Shoplifting At Middletown GameStop Friday Morning

MIDDLETOWN, NJ — There was a shoplifting at the GameStop in Middletown Commons off Rt. 35 Friday morning, confirmed Middletown Police.

The shoplifting took place inside the store at 11 a.m. Police said no gun or weapon was used.

An eyewitness inside the store at the time reported seeing two masked men enter the store, and reported that they cleared items off the shelves into trash bags, and demanded items and cash from the register and the area around the register.

Items were stolen, but Middletown Police did not provide more information.

Nobody was injured.
