Spirit Halloween Opening 45 New Jersey Stores; Here's Where

NEW JERSEY — Attention, those who love Spirit Halloween: The company plans to open 45 stores across New Jersey this Halloween season, and we've got the entire list of where they will be.

Some of these Spirit Halloween stores are already open, even as of early August. But the majority of these stores will not open until the end of August/September, says the company.

Spirit Halloween's real estate strategy is to "ideally look for temporary three-month leases that include a kick-out clause," the company said here on their website.

"Since Spirit locations open on or about September 1 and remain open through November 1, our ideal lease would run from mid July through mid-November," continued the company. "We like to locate our stores in power centers, strip centers, free-standing stores, major downtown retail locations and in major malls surrounded by a national retailer mix. Our aim is to set up in communities that have 1) a population of approximately 35,000+, 2) living within a 3-5 mile radius, and 3) with a car count of at least 25,000 cars per day."

Here are all 45 Spirit Halloween locations already open, or coming soon to New Jersey, for Halloween 2024:

• Aberdeen: A Spirit Halloween will open soon in the former Bed Bath & Beyond; 1121 Rt. 34
• Brick: A Spirit Halloween will open soon in the former Christmas Tree Shop, 65 Rt. 70
• Bridgewater: A Spirit Halloween is already open at 306-362 Chimney Rock Road (next to Talbots) in Bridgewater
• Another will open soon at the Somerset Shopping Center, in the former Rite Aid, 319 Rt. 202
• Cherry Hill: Two Spirit Halloweens are coming to Cherry Hill: One is moving into the former Christmas Tree Shops at 2130 Marlton Pike; the second at the former Rite Aidat 1509 Rt. 38.
• Clementon: Coming soon to the former Rite Aid, 1360 Blackwood-Clementon Road
• Clifton: A Spirit Halloween will open soon in the former Unclaimed Freight, 1030 Rt. 46
• East Brunswick: One is already open inside the former Loehmanns, 233 Rt. 18. Open daily until 7 p.m.
• Egg Harbor Township: One is already open near the Boscovs at the Shore Mall,
  6725 East Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Township. Open daily until 7 p.m.
• Englishtown: A Spirit Halloween is coming soon to the former Emma Mason Furniture store at 425 Rt. 9 in Englishtown
• Franklin (Northwest New Jersey): One is opening this August inside the former Harmon Face Values, 100 Rt. 23
• Franklin (Somerset County): One is opening this August inside the former Office Depot on Easton Avenue
• Freehold Township: A Spirit Halloween will open inside the former Nordstroms at the Freehold Raceway Mall. Coming soon.
• Holmdel: A Spirit Halloween will open this August inside the former Barnes & Noble, 2134 Rt. 35.
• Lawrence Township: A Spirit Halloween will open at the former Sears at Quakerbridge Mall on Rt. 1.
• Livingston: A Spirit Halloween is already open inside the former Buy Buy Baby, 530 West Mount Pleasant Avenue. Open daily until 7 p.m.
• Manahawkin/Stafford Township: A Spirit Halloween will open this August at the former Five Below, 601 Washington Avenue Manahawkin, NJ 08050
• Marlton: One is already open inside the former Bed Bath & Beyond, 740 Rt. 73 South. Open daily until 7 p.m.
• Mays Landing: One is already open inside the former Bed, Bath & Beyond, 190 Hamilton Commons. Open daily until 7 p.m.
• Middletown: A Spirit Halloween is coming soon to the former Rite Aid, 200 Wilson Avenue in the Port Monmouth section.
• Middle Township (South Jersey): One is coming soon to the former Family Dollar, 1304 Rt. 47
• Newton: A Spirit Halloween is already open next to the Michaels, 17 Hampton House Road. Open daily until 7 p.m.
• North Brunswick: One is opening this August next to the Rainbow, 560 Milltown Road.
• Old Bridge: One is already open inside the former Staples at 1043 Rt. 9. Open daily until 7 p.m.
• Paramus: Three are coming to Paramus: One is already open inside the former Kirklands in Bergen Town Center. A second is coming soon to the former Bob's Furniture on Rt. 17 (opening in August). And a third will open next to the Dollar Tree on Rt. 4 (opening in September).
• Parsippany-Troy Hills: A Spirit Halloween will open soon inside the former Home Goods, 3101 Rt. 46
• Riverdale: A Spirit Halloween will open this August inside the former Sports Authority, 48 Rt. 23.
• Rockaway: One is already open inside the former Christmas Tree Shops, 327 Mount Hope Avenue. Open daily until 7 p.m.
• Roxbury/Succasunna: A Spirit Halloween is already open inside the former Harmon Face Values, 275 Rt. 10. Open daily until 7 p.m.
• Toms River: One is already open in the ShopRite center, 860 Fischer Boulevard, and the second will open this August the former Rite Aid at 1726 Rt. 37.
• Turnersville: One is already open inside the former Sears, 5851 Rt. 42.
• Vineland: One is already open inside the former Ulta Beauty, 3849 South Delsea Drive
• Watchung: One is already open inside the former Bed Bath & Beyond, 1511 Rt. 22.
