Grand Opening For Park With ‘Skateable’ Artwork In Montclair
The skatepark in Montclair features seven unique sculptures designed by Olympian Alexis Sablone, an MIT and Barnard graduate.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — UPDATE: Due to the weather forecast, the grand opening is now slated for Sunday, March 26 at the same time and place. Our original article follows below.
Olympian Alexis Sablone, members of Tony Hawk's “The Skatepark Project” and local skateboarding fans will be on hand for the grand opening of a skatepark in Montclair on Saturday, March 25.
A grand opening event for Candy Courts will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at 155 North Fullerton Avenue.
