Lacordaire Students Explore Europe
Several students enjoyed a 10-day excursion across the pond.

Several Lacordaire Academy Upper Division students took advantage of a 10-day excursion to Europe to take in the sights and sounds of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland over the summer break.
The students, Talia Berardi (East Orange), Katie Cryan (Cedar Grove), Paloma DeCarlo (West Orange), Emily Lanning (Upper Montclair), Hannah Mizrahi (Bloomfield), and Shanica Sears (Montclair) were accompanied by faculty member, Sister Marie Mueller, O.P. The group toured the cities of London, Edinburgh and Dublin and enjoyed notable sights including Windsor Castle, Ring of Kerry, Book of Kells at Trinity College, a cruise on the Thames River, and a ride on the London Eye.

Founded in 1920, the Academy's mission is to engage young people as lifelong learners, helping them to become self-directed, competent, confident individuals capable of assuming leadership roles in school and throughout their lives.
