5 Hurt In Burlington County Crash

The one-car crash happened on Tuesday, police said.

WESTAMPTON, NJ — Five people were hurt in a one-car crash that occurred in Burlington County earlier this week, police said.

A Jeep traveling south on the Mount Holly Bypass in Westampton on Tuesday went off the road, into a backyard, struck a wooden fence and then hit a tree on East Pennington Drive, according to police.

The driver, a 48-year-old woman from Mount Holly, was hurt, as were four passengers in the Jeep: a 27-year-old woman and a five-year-old boy from Mount Laurel and a 44-year-old man and an 11-year-old boy from Mt. Holly, police said.

Police did not release the medical conditions of the Jeep's occupants.
