Art Sale to Support SJNOWIndivisible

A 3-day art sale, featuring the work of local artist, Ellen Barnett is set for June 26, June 28 and July 5 in Moorestown

Moorestown, NJ, June 17, 2025 -- An art sale featuring the work of South Jersey-based artist Ellen Barnett will be held:

  • Thurs. June 26, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
  • Sat. June 28, 1 to 5 p.m.
  • Sat. July 5, 1 to 5 p.m.

Location: 234 Eastbourne Terrace, Moorestown, NJ 08057

A portion of the proceeds will benefit nonprofit SJNOWIndivisible, a local chapter of Indivisible, a national grassroots movement with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda. The all-volunteer group meets monthly in the Mount Laurel/Marlton area.

Ellen Barnett is a South Jersey-based Mixed Media Artist whose art chronicles where she has lived and what she has experienced: an interest in Asian Art after living in Japan and studying Chinese Sumi painting; fabric collage while running a retail consignment shop; pastels experiencing plein air painting; an adventurous experimenting with watercolors during a difficult time, and painting in a circular format while studying Zen.

Ellen earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rutgers University, Camden, NJ, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Book Arts /Printmaking from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, PA. One of her prints appears in the book, Philadelphia Images, and a printed quilt of Fauna and Flora of the Pine Barrens is in the permanent collection of the Pemberton Library in New Jersey.
