BOE Candidate Jill Macaluso Is A Leader, Moorestown Resident Says
George McAvoy has written a letter to the editor in support of Moorestown school board candidate Jill Fallows Macaluso.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — George McAvoy is a 15-year Moorestown resident who feels very strongly about supporting Jill Fallows Macaluso as she pursues an open seat on the public school district's board of education. His letter to the editor can be found below.
To the Editor:
Jill Fallows Macaluso is an executive-level leader who is uniquely qualified to serve on the Board of Education. I worked closely with Jill in her 'day job' for more than 10 years. She's a strategic thinker, clear communicator, and she holds herself and others accountable. These skills were apparent to the Moorestown community as Jill advocated at Board of Education meetings for all our children throughout the pandemic.

I've sat across the table from Jill in the corporate setting and can attest to the way she works: She takes a "let's make sure we're clear on our objectives, let's look at the facts, and then let's work together to get a solution that works for us" approach. All done with active listening and respect for everyone. These are qualities and capabilities we truly need on the Board.
Constituent advocacy isn’t new to Jill. She advocated for prescription-drug access for pediatric patients with rare medical conditions, and she's been instrumental in bringing unique disease-state education initiatives to underserved children with hemophilia.

Jill's efforts were more than just lawyer-work; she achieved incredible results for patient populations who don't get the press that many others get, and she did it because she's passionate about it, and because it's the right thing to do. I know Jill will bring that same level of passion to the Board.
Jill's professional education and experience has allowed her to develop her perspective in leading, setting direction, negotiating, collaborating and delivering results. She has the tools to assess situations objectively and make decisions based on facts and data skills drawing from her legal/compliance experience and clinical training in nursing.
Jill’s professional skills and her passion is what we need on the Board, now. I encourage others to learn more about her candidacy on the JillforBOE Facebook page or by emailing jillforboe@gmail.com.
