Crash Delays Route 38 Traffic, Taking Down Pole, Wires In Burlington Co.

Only one eastbound lane is open in the area, officials said.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A utility pole and wires came down after a crash Friday morning that has partially closed Route 38 in Mount Laurel.

Police reported the crash around 8:30 a.m. on Route 38 East by Briggs Road.

Two of the three eastbound lanes and the shoulder are closed as of 9 a.m., according to 511NJ.

The intersection at Briggs Road is also closed, police said.

Transportation officials and PSE&G are at the scene.
