Crash Reduces I-295 To 1 Lane In Burlington County

Expect backups of up to 15 minutes, officials said.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A crash has significantly backed up traffic Wednesday morning on Interstate 295, officials said.

The crash, reported at 8:34 a.m., occurred on I-295 southbound — north of Exit 40 to Route 38 — in Mount Laurel, according to the NJ Department of Transportation.

Only 1 of 3 lanes is open, and both shoulders are closed as of this writing. Expect delays of 10 to 15 minutes, NJDOT said.
