Death At Burlington Co. Hotel Under Investigation, Police Say
Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was found at a Burlington County hotel on Route 73.
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ - Authorities from the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the death of a man whose body was found at a Burlington County hotel on Route 73.
Just before 10 a.m. on Thursday, Mount Laurel police were called to the hotel for a report of a male decedent found outside of a room near a stairwell at the Rodeway Inn in Mount Laurel, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office said. The decedent’s name was not immediately made public by police.
An autopsy is set to be performed by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood to determine the cause and manner of death, the prosecutor’s office said.

A person of interest has been taken into custody. Additional information will be released on Friday, the prosecutor’s office added.
The investigation is being conducted by the Mount Laurel Police Department and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, with assistance from the Camden County Police Department, the Cherry Hill Police Department and the Evesham Township Police Department.
