Fiery Crash With Injuries On Route 70 In Burlington Co.

A traffic signal is also down, officials said. Expect delays in both directions.

MEDFORD, NJ — A vehicle caught fire and a traffic signal was down after a crash Tuesday morning on Route 70 in Burlington County, officials said.

According to Medford Township Police, a vehicle was traveling west on Route 70 at CR541 when a second vehicle attempted to make a left turn onto northbound CR541 from Eastbound Route 70. That's when the two vehicles crashed. None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening, police said.

NJDOT reported the collision at 8:47 a.m. at the intersection of Route 70 and Main Street (Route 541). Route 70 was shut down in both directions, but has since reopened.
