Fire At Unoccupied Home In Burlington Co. Under Investigation

The fire originated on the third floor of the home.

MEDFORD, NJ — An unoccupied home caught fire Saturday afternoon in Medford, officials said.

First responders rushed to the scene at 1:56 p.m. on the 100 block of South Main Street. The fire came from the third flood of the home, which was unoccupied.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Medford Township fire marshal and the Medford Township Police Department's Criminal Investigative Bureau.

The Medford Township Fire Department handled the blaze with help from Medford Lakes and Evesham firefighters.
