Freeholders Holding Another "Road Show" Meeting

Burlington County freeholders will hold a public meeting in Mount Laurel next week, part of an ongoing series of "road show" meetings throughout the county.

Burlington County freeholders will hold their second "road show" meeting this year at the Mount Laurel municipal building (100 Mount Laurel Road) next Wednesday.

As part of a transparency plan proposed by Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly at the beginning of the year, the board is taking some of its meetings on the road to various locations throughout the county. The first road show meeting was held in Burlington Township in June.

"We want to make sure that all of our residents have the opportunity to be a part of county government," said Donnelly. "Taking meetings to different parts of the county will give folks an opportunity to attend meetings in their hometowns."

The meeting in Mount Laurel will be held next Wednesday, Aug. 14, starting at 7 p.m.

Additional road shows are being planned and will be announced once details are finalized. Check the county website for updates.
