Tonight's Jersey Boomers concert will go on as planned.

Tonight's summer concert installment at will go on as planned despite the heat advisory blanketing the region.
The Jersey Boomers, an acoustic group of Moorestown residents, will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. The opening act at 7:15 p.m. is the cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang providing a preview of the Moorestown Theater Company's production.
Moorestown's sponsors the summer concert series. Director Theresa Miller said she decided to go ahead with tonight's concert after consulting the Jersey Boomers, who are eager to perform, and checking weather forecasts for rain.

Temperatures should hover in the mid-80s during tonight's concert, according to the Weather Channel. There is a 10 percent chance of rain.
