I-295 Crash In Springfield Prompts Delays Thursday Morning: DOT

SPRINGFIELD, NJ - A crash on I-295 in Springfield has prompted commuting delays Thursday morning, authorities said.

AAs of 5:43 a.m., there’s a crash on I-295 northbound at north of Exit 47 - CR 541/Burlington-Mount Holly Road in Springfield, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

The right shoulder is currently closed. Workers are currently cleaning up debris from the crash in a closed rest area, the agency said.
