'Jersey Shore' Star To Visit Moorestown For Book Signing
Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino, who gained fame from MTV's 'Jersey Shore,' will sign copies of his book about his journey to sobriety.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, who rose to fame as part of the crew of summer partying friends on MTV's "Jersey Shore," is scheduled to appear at the Barnes & Noble in Moorestown for a book signing.
Sorrentino will sign copies of his new memoir, "Reality Check: Making the Best of The Situation – How I Overcame Addiction, Loss, and Prison," at 6:30 p.m. April 25 in Moorestown.
Sorrentino "paints a raw and uncensored picture of his rise to stardom, steep fall, and amazing renaissance, all told with unwavering honesty," an announcement about the book tour says.

He was one of the stars of "Jersey Shore," which ran from 2009-2012 on MTV and followed the summer parties, relationships and even fights of eight roommates who shared a house in Seaside Heights.
Sorrentino, a Manalapan High School graduate who was born on Staten Island, has since admitted to having been addicted to oxycodone while he was on the show. He later had run-ins with the law, including after a fight with his brother at the family's Middletown tanning salon.

He later admitted to tax evasion and spent eight months in federal prison.
