Main Street Shut Down In Moorestown Due To Downed Tree

Traffic is heavy as drivers take detours, officials said.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — A stretch of Moorestown's Main Street has been shut down Thursday morning because of a downed tree.

The roadway is closed between Church Street and Chester Avenue, where public works crews are removing the tree.

It's expected to be closed until the early afternoon, according to a township advisory.

"Traffic is currently heavy amid the detours," the advisory says. "Please plan accordingly and allot extra time for travel."
