I’ve known Cheryl since 2012, when she was voted in to join the Board of Trustees of the
Moorestown Community House.
I was impressed by how quickly Cheryl made an impact. She grasped the challenges we were facing as a non-profit, listened to everyone’s ideas and opinions and was able to bring forth a creative and cohesive way to present the Community House so that people would understand our mission and needs.

She was a key stakeholder in “rebranding” the community house and its rebirth. Her pragmatic, level demeanor and ability to view things with objectivity was unique and effective. When I heard that Cheryl was running for the Moorestown Board of Education, I was thrilled.
My experience working with Cheryl is that she is a collaborative, thoughtful, solutions-oriented leader - all characteristics needed in a time of new beginnings for our district — a new superintendent, three new BoE members and new priorities stemming from the pandemic.
It’s clear when you speak with Cheryl that her agenda is not personal, it is for the greater good of our children and our community. My daughters both graduated from Moorestown High School. As a resident and a parent, I am personally invested in seeing Moorestown continue on a positive path.
I believe that Cheryl’s life experience as the daughter of a public school educator and her belief that our district can provide a well-rounded educational experience that helps every child reach their potential is why I, and my wife, support her candidacy.
Cheryl has our vote and if you don’t know her, I encourage you to consider her. She’d be a wonderful addition to the Board of Education.
