Man Charged In Attempted Carjacking At Moorestown Mall: Police
A man attempted to drag a woman from her car, punching her in the face and pulling her hair, according to Moorestown police.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — A man was arrested after attacking a woman during an attempted carjacking at the Moorestown Mall on Wednesday, according to police.
A 63-year-old woman told Moorestown police that she had just arrived at the mall at about 11:53 a.m. Wednesday, when a man approached her car.
While she was still inside, the man opened the door and attempted to pull her from the car, police said.

He punched her in the face twice and pulled her hair, which resulted in significant injuries to her face, police said. He fled when confronted by a witness.
The woman was taken to Virtua Hospital in Marlton for treatment, police said.

Moorestown police officers were able to find the man, identified as 29-year-old Juan G. Andino of Camden, and arrested him after a brief foot chase, police said.
Andino is charged with carjacking, robbery, assault and obstruction. He has been remanded to the Burlington County Jail.
