I-295 Fully Reopens After Truck Overturned In Burlington Co.

Update, 9:28 a.m. Monday: The roadway is now clear, according to NJDOT.


MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A truck overturned on Interstate 295, partially closing the highway and delaying commutes on Monday morning, officials said.

It happened on I-295 South in Mount Laurel — ahead of Exit 36 to Route 73 — according to the NJ Department of Transportation.

The right lane and shoulder are closed. Expect backups of 5 to 10 minutes, NJDOT said.

The truck has been overturned since at least 5:30 a.m. Monday, according to NJDOT. Details on the incident weren't immediately available.
