'Hit And Run' Incident In Burlington Co. Not Criminal In Nature: Police
A crash involving a pedestrian was first believed to be a hit and run. However, the striking driver had spoken to officers at the scene.
MOUNT HOLLY, NJ — A Burlington County crash involving a pedestrian that was initially investigated as a hit-and-run is now believed to not be criminal in nature, authorities said Thursday.
A vehicle struck and injured the pedestrian around 6 a.m. at the intersection of Route 38 and Pine Street in Mount Holly, officials said.
Police initially investigated the incident as a hit-and-run, before later realizing the driver spoke to officers at the scene, said Mount Holly Police Chief Clifford Spencer.
