Pemberton Fire Tears Through Sushi Restaurant Friday
A Pemberton sushi restaurant in the Browns Mills section of town caught fire Friday night, fire officials said.
PEMBERTON, NJ - A Pemberton sushi restaurant in the Browns Mills section of town caught fire Friday night, fire officials said.
Fire officials were dispatched at around 2:30 a.m. to Shogun Wok on Juliustown Road for the reported fire, the Pemberton Fire Department said in a statement.
Upon arrival, fire officials observed smoke and an active fire inside the restaurant.

No injuries were reported as crews doused the fire. Pemberton fire officials thanked Goodwill Fire Company, Joint Base Fire Department, New Egypt Fire Company and Whiting Fire Company for their assistance.
It was not immediately clear if a neighboring beauty salon and dry cleaning service were affected by the fire. A phone number connected to Shogun Wok was not in service as of 12 p.m. on Saturday; the location’s website and GrubHub website are also down.
